Quick search The quickest and most fundamental way to search for data in eGenome is by using the text searching feature. A link to this feature, labeled "QUICK SEARCH", can be found at the top of most eGenome web pages (except the help pages). The feature is a simple box in which an element name (e.g. D1S2845), DNA accession number (e.g. Z51474), DNA clone, or database identifier (e.g. AFM344we9) can be entered.
For
example, typing in the gene symbol "D1S2845" as shown above would query
the database, collect all database elements named D1S2845, and return these
results to your browser:
